Profile
I am Mochiao Chen, currently working on AI products at Tara while studying Finance in the Hongru Finance Talent Program at the University of International Business and Economics.
My work sits at the intersection of product, finance, and computation: turning language models into useful products, using research and data to understand industries, and writing to make complicated questions clear and verifiable.

Selected Projects
Lectio · AI Learning Skill May 2026
Beijing Student Computer Design Competition · Third Prize · Project Lead
- Independently designed and developed an open-source AI learning skill that turns PDF slides, Bilibili or YouTube videos, and scattered notes into structured LaTeX handouts, Markdown previews, and Anki flashcards.
- Designed for agent runtimes and tuned on the GLM model family, with Socratic questions, Feynman compression, and automatic flashcards; released under GPL-3.0.
Jianzhendun · Multimodal Financial Fraud Detection Nov 2025
ICBC Cup National Student FinTech Innovation Competition · National Third Prize · Core Developer / Tech Lead
- Designed a multi-agent architecture that used prompt engineering to identify six categories of fraud, and led full-stack development.
- Built an intermediary-fraud feature library; the model achieved 90% accuracy on the test set and produced quantitative risk scores.
Xinqiao · AI Mental-health Companion May 2025
Challenge Cup Beijing Student Academic & Technology Competition · Third Prize · Project Lead / PM
- Owned the product PRD and business plan, taking the concept through the full product-development process.
- Combined RAG with a counselling knowledge base to design an AI assistant for emotion recognition, psychological guidance, and companionship.
NIPT Timing Optimisation and Anomaly Detection Oct 2025
China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling · Beijing First Prize · Core Team Member
- Built a multidimensional machine-learning framework on clinical data, handling missing-value imputation, outlier removal, and modelling implementation.
- Wrote the project’s core abstract and produced visualisations of distributions, feature importance, and ROC curves in Python.
