This is the first entry on this website, and a small commitment: I want what lives here to be more than a stream of immediate opinions. It should be work that has been organised, can be revisited, and remains open to correction.
What I plan to write
Most entries will fall into three broad groups:
- Research notes on AI for Finance, computational economics, NLP, and market simulation;
- Project retrospectives on why a tool was built, what worked, and what did not;
- Essays on learning, writing, and questions that deserve a second look.
Why an independent journal
Social media is good at moving information. A journal is better at giving it structure. An article can have a table of contents, footnotes, quotations, figures, and code—and it can still be revised years later without answering to a timeline.
A useful note does not preserve everything. It leaves a reliable place from which to think again.
A Markdown specimen
The journal supports standard Markdown and common extensions, including tables, task lists, footnotes, highlighted code, and native HTML for richer editorial layouts.

- Establish a personal home
- Set up the journal
- Keep writing
Footnotes can keep the main argument uncluttered.1
